Popular Waterfalls

Like other islands , Biliran  has enormous beautiful tourist spots .

But what makes Biliran unique is that , it is rich in magnificent eye-catching waterfalls. 

The waterfalls give job opportunities to biliranon , and with the help of the government , buildings were built near the spots resulting in employment of the locals .As years past, tourist started  visiting the place, making Biliran island a busy place.

1.  The chilly water of  ''Kasabangan falls''

           The waterfalls lies beneath the mountains of  Balaquid ,Cabucgayan ,Biliran not far from the national road. "Its freezing cold out here " most tourist would say , its chilly water gives relief  to visitors on summer-days  when sun's above the head. And  a monkey rails awaits you at the end of the access road.In addition, Kasabangan has what they call '' seven wonders'' means six extraordinary waterfalls

   

2.  The Mysterious Casiawan  Falls

The waterfalls is located at the heart of Casiawan ,Cabucgayan ,Biliran. Across from the Casiawan Elementary School. Due to its geographical location , the air is cool and good for relaxation . Though it's located on the mountaintops still store are accessible. At current date, resorts were built near the spot to accommodate tourist. Rumor has it, that a big snake is guarding the waterfalls. It is said that there a treasure hidden beneath the big stones.
